Saturday, July 25, 2009 19:55 - Greenfields Fire Company was dispatched as part of the Intital Structure Assignment to the 5600 block of Mount Pleasant Road to assist the Mount Pleasant Fire Company on a dryer fire inside a residence.
Mount Pleasant's Quint 30 was flagged down by the homowner as they were returning from a parade. Company 30 firefighters made a quick knockdown of the fire and removed the damaged dryer from the house. Mutual Aid fire companies arrived and assisted with ventilation and overhaul.
No one was injured and damage to the residence was minimal. Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
Bernville, Spring Township and Sinking Spring Fire Companies also assisted.
