Saturday, June 12, 2010 12:00 - Firefighters and Fire Police from Greenfields Fire Company were on site at the 2010 Blue Marsh Water Safety Festival to provide a safe landing zone for the PennStar 4 helicopter and also demonstrate some of the equipment utilized by firefighters.
The Water Safety Festival is held every year to promote the Blue Marsh Lake, emergency services and general public safety.
Deputy 55 Brian Fisher organized the fire company portion of the detail which included a scavenger hunt and information sessions to the public about the fire company.
