A big THANK YOU to all Greenfields Fire Company personnel who braved the heat and bright sun this past weekend during our 5-hour stand by's for the WWII Weekend event. We appreciate your dedication and professionalism.

Another big THANK YOU to Fire Companies from Mount Pleasant, Leesport, Western Berks, West Reading and Goodwill of Hyde Park  for all your help during WWII Weekend this weekend.

Mount Pleasant assisted with Rescue 30, Tanker 30 and Brush 30; Leesport with Tanker 37, Western Berks with Brush 18-3, Brush 18-4, and two ATV's. Goodwill of Hyde Park ran all Company 55 dispatches including a call for a wire down on Upper Van Reed Road and a multi-alarm structure fire in West Reading Borough.

On Sunday West Reading FD Engine 64 stood by at Station 55 to cover all Bern Township calls.

PIctures for the WWII event will be posted later.
