Two  vehicles collided at the intersection of Route 183 and West Leesport Road in Bern Township. Arriving firefighters reported a patient confined  in one vehicle and two other patients that had sustained moderate injuries.

Firefighters worked to extricate the patient, who was transported to the hospital by Schuylkill Valley EMS.

Traffic was re-routed around the incident for about 30 minutes until the scene was cleared.
